Writing Conventions

- Know how to conjugate simple present and simple past verb tense
- Appropriately use present and past verb tense.
ELD 2 Early Intermediate
- Know how to conjugate future, present and past continuous verbs
- Write using varied sentences (simple, compound) with correct punctuation (commas)
ELD 3 Intermediate
- Revise paragraphs to use transitions (time) and varied sentence structure
- Know when to use the continuous tense in place of the simple tense for present and past verbs.
ELD 4 High Intermediate to mid Early Advanced
- Create coherent essays through time and sequence transitions.
